The article mentions the TEFCE project as a good example on the EU level, particularly in the light of current circumstances of mobility and brain circulation with which some young EU Member States, such as Croatia, are facing and the growing need for community engagement of universities in Europe .
The article also highlights the results achieved in the project so far: comprehensive research and a policy brief containing four underlying principles within the framework for community engagement in higher education that the project team conducted, and a toolbox that provides support for higher education institutions to evaluate their community engagement.
